Kendriya Vidyalaya Karimganj was established in the year 1992, and started functioning in the rented building at Settlement Road, Karimganj provided by the Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj. It is one of the Kendriya Vidyalaya’s, functioning under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi. The permanent building of KV Karimganj in under construction of CPWD. It has started functioning in the new building w.e.f 28th June 2007 Inspite of inadequate infrastructure, the Vidyalaya is producing better result in comparison to some of its well equipped counterparts.
